About the Department

Music is one of the authentic ways to calm minds. In this ancient times music was used as a medicine for treating patients and masses, who used to through stress and depression with the time, music started giving people an objective to live their lives with dignity. ...

Music has reached every part of the world and been a global language too. We believe that music is the easiest way to reach god and through our teaching, we teach students the different forms of music by which they may further set their career in the fields of music.

Aims & Objectives

There are myriad of objective linked with our profession. The first foremost objective is that we promote music among students, so that they may settle their career in this field. Secondly, students may earn name and fame and even money to live their lives in a better ways. Thirdly, our institution may get recognition when our student would perform in different music related competition such as: youth festivals and inter zonal youth festival and finally, students may continue their tertiary education and work as music teacher and lectures on schools and colleges.

Highlights

  • We train student for the music competitions specially for youth and inter zonal festivals.
  • We train students for classical music, folk, gazal and geet, shabad, group songs and bhajan.
  • We also encourage and judge student in the talent hunt function.
  • Students from other department also get attached towards music. As, this year only, a student from commerce ( Ishwarjot Kaur ) department won prize in “Kavishri” from B-zone, Hariana.
