Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College for Women, Dasuya is the flagship institution of Guru Teg Bahadur Educational Trust, Dasuya a Conglomerate having prominent interests in the field of education.
Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College for Women (GTBKCW) is situated in the foothills of Shivalik Mountain range in Dasuya. Started in 1976 as an academy with the vision of imparting quality education to girls/women in the vicinity of ancient Pandav city Dasuya, the college got affiliation from the prestigious Panjab University Chandigarh in 1996. As an eponym of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, GTBKCW follows his principles and philosophy and has been putting undeviating efforts to fulfil the mission of becoming an educational hub for the girls of this rural kandi (geographically backward) area. At the time of its establishment, no women's college existed to educate the girls/women of nearby villages. The college proved to be a blessing for girls in general as well as girls of socially and economically deprived families.
